Hi world! It's been a minute since I last blogged and there's so much to catch up on and balloon tea to talk about. So, this summer I (me, the owner, lol) took a longer than expected break from the business world. Not of taking customers but just from blogging and posting on social media. Where was I or what was I doing? Well, being socially in the moment and that's literally..lol, not online but in real life. I attended two beautiful summer weddings and one of my own..lol, YES!! You heard that right I got married myself!! I had a whole wedding proposal, a short engagement window, a small and intimate wedding ceremony and a whole honeymoon to beautiful Tulum, Mexico and that's another read for another day. (check out some views below).

Okay, now that we showed a peek into my personal life..let's get back to what you originally came to read. Now, in my observations of the two weddings I did attend (well for the first wedding I was an actual guest and the second one I was a bridesmaid). But, as I was saying, in both of these weddings I observed no balloons, I repeat no balloons at all. Now, one could only assume why they wouldn't want balloons as a part of their wedding decor or why people in general wouldn't want balloon decor. But I'm not here to judge, I'm just going to assume that they may think it's just not fancy enough or even appropriate (like tacky or something). So, if that is the case I would say they are absolutely missing out (in my humble opinion) and here's why.

There are so many ways you can incorporate balloons in a wedding whether for the wedding ceremony decor or the reception area decor. It's all about the quality of the balloons, the colors, the style and function. Though, if done right, the balloon decor could look as fancy and stylish as your flower and candle decor. So, I'm going to quickly share some balloon wedding decor ideas with you all and maybe this will give you some inspiration for your wedding one day or someone that you know that will be getting married that you can share this with too.

Let's start at the foyer or the entrance when people first arrive to the venue. Guest should expect some sort of warm welcome. So, regarding wedding balloon decor, my thoughts are to either have a wedding welcome sign with PROPS.DECOR.BALLOONS. standing easel with a balloon garland attached along adorned with a floral swag and yes, we provide the realistic faux florals for added elegance. Or the other suggestion is our newest service we offer...a custom welcome signage mirror adorned with florals (see P.D.B. pictures below).

Moving right along to our reception area where the dining occurs. Usually there are round and rectangle tables or either or but what I want you to know is that PROPS.DECOR.BALLOONS., decorate tables whether it's a wedding or special occasion, private home or venue WE SET THE TABLE for you. Though this particular service is known as tablescaping we named this Dreamscapes...why? Well because our tables can really be dreamy such as this (see our picture below)

Or your tables can be as simple but still sharp as this (see our picture below)

We have tablescape packages available that includes your charger and plates, flatware, stemware, napkins and table linen. Add-on custom menus and centerpieces of choice. I'll have to do a separate blog to talk more on our Dreamscape packages but yeah just inquire on the contact form and we can get you right.

Last but not least (because there are many more elements of a wedding that can be adorned with balloon/faux-floral decor). I wanted to end the blog with the main course- your FOCAL POINT...yes..and let me explain. Your focal point is anywhere, where the majority of eyeballs would be drawn. Most times at a wedding it's where the bride and groom are during a ceremony-which typically is at the altar. During the reception it can be a few places, but to be clear, it's going to be something that stands out from anything else in the room. Let me show you another example, in the video below you will find at the end of the table there is a focal point (click the video below)

"Hey, nobody puts Baby in the corner"..ha ha I had to say it, (omg, not me dating myself), lol. But anyways, yes usually the main focal point is the star of the show and gets attention from everyone. PROPS.DECOR.BALLOONS. offer all sorts of balloon installations or for clarity..balloon backdrops, that can be for your wedding or event. Next year, 2026 we should have a whole wedding balloon collection/series menu that you can visually choose from, can't wait for that! Here's another focal point during an engagement dinner (balloons for engagement party/dinner, bridal shower and all the events leading up to the wedding).

Again, we can discuss your wedding (or event) as soon as you submit your information through our contact form. We would love to provide some sort of elegant, luxe balloon styling service for you. No, it doesn't have to be elegant and chic, it can be fun and whimsical, the choice is yours. We just want to provide you with options and let you know that YES you can have balloons for a wedding. Should you be having an upcoming wedding and would like to have our balloon decor, faux florals, balloon backdrops, Dreamscape table styling or any of our balloon services, please do not hesitate to inquire.

Wow this read was very lengthy, but I thank you guys for stopping by and reading the balloon blog, hopefully it was good reads. I'll try to keep the tea hot and pipin' for the next time. But, also comment and let us know a little about you (who are my readers?) and what you would like me to blog about. Can't wait to hear from you!!
